Where is Ace Optical located and what are your hours?
We’re at 153 N 4th St, Steubenville, OH 43952, in downtown Steubenville, Ohio. We’re open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Call (740) 283-2461 with any questions.
Can you fill a prescription from another eye doctor?
Yes. We fill any valid eyeglass prescription — bring it in, and we’ll help you choose frames and lenses. We’re also glad to help if you’ve had trouble getting a prescription filled elsewhere.
What frame brands do you carry?
Our frames include Ray-Ban, Kate Spade and Pair Eyewear, plus more. Stop in and try a few on, or call us at (740) 283-2461 to ask about a specific brand.
Do you offer eye exams?
Yes. Eye exams and contact lens fittings are performed by an independent Doctor of Optometry who sees patients at our Steubenville office. Request an appointment online or call us, and we’ll find the next available time.
What is the warranty on your frames?
Most of our frames include a 2-year warranty. Ask us about the details on the pair you’re considering.
Do you adjust or clean glasses?
Always. Cleaning is free, and for glasses purchased from Ace Optical, nose pads, screws and adjustments are free of charge too.
Do you accept my vision insurance?
Coverage varies by plan. Call us at (740) 283-2461 with your insurance information and we’ll tell you how we can help before your visit.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Do you make prescription safety glasses?
Yes. Ace Optical began as a wholesale lab supplying area industrial companies and eye doctors, and we still specialize in safety eyewear for workers and employers across the Ohio Valley.
Do you serve patients outside Steubenville?
Absolutely. We welcome patients from across the Tri-State area, including Wintersville, Mingo Junction, Toronto, Weirton, Follansbee, Wellsburg and Cadiz.
